Working at IDS offers a unique and exciting opportunity. IDS is home to researchers, knowledge workers, support staff and about 200 students.

IDS has a community feel and a level of staff involvement that we are very proud of. With community days, lunch-time seminars, research days, annual reviews, a staff council and research and teaching forum, there are various spaces to share ideas and take part in IDS life. We also have a social side to life here that includes our canteen, common rooms, our own IDS Band and an annual pantomime.
